On February 6th, the 7th and 8th Grade Clarinets and Saxophones enjoyed a Masterclass with Dr. Todd Goranson , Professor of Saxophone and Bassoon of Messiah University. Dr. Goranson has performed, traveled, and taught all across the world and has performed with artists such as Ray Charles, The Four Tops, the Dallas Wind Symphony and the Philadelphia Wind Symphony. 

Congratulations to our 7th & 8th grade students who were selected to perform in the Schuylkill Valley Area Orchestra!  Over 100 students from ten middle schools rehearsed throughout the week on our middle school stage and presented a concert on Friday evening at UMAMS.  Each piece in the concert was conducted by a different director giving students the opportunity to experience different teaching styles and conducting techniques throughout the orchestra festival.  Congratulations everyone!
