Reading Olympics

What is Reading Olympics?

It is a program that encourages children of all reading levels to share the excitement of reading good books. The participants are organized into teams of approximately 12 students. Throughout the school year, students collaborate with their teammates to read approximately 30 pre-selected books. A Reading Olympics Competition will be held one evening after school on April 11th, 2025. At the competition, many teams from schools across Montgomery County meet to answer questions about the books they have read during the school year.

 

 

Meeting Dates: All meetings will be held after-school from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.

October: 9th, 23th

November: 6th, 20th

December: 11th

January: 15th, 29th

February: 12th, 26th

March: 12th, 19th

April: 2nd, 11th (competition night)

  • Space is limited! This intramural is “first come, first served”. Turn your permission slip into Mrs. Johnson in room C-227 as soon as possible!
