Dress Guidelines

DRESS GUIDELINES 

 
 
Students should dress in a way that allow themselves and others to focus on learning. Dress should not be a distraction. The following clothing is not appropriate for school:

• Clothing with reference to tobacco, alcohol, drugs, sex, violence, ethnic prejudice or offensive language

• Clothing or accessories which could cause injury to self or others

• Hats and/or headgear 

• Mesh shirts, halter tops, muscle shirts/tank tops, tops with spaghetti straps, strapless tops

• Unsuitably short, tight, transparent, immodest or cut-off clothing (no exposed cleavage, underwear, midsections; no skirts/shorts above mid-thigh)

 
 
ENFORCEMENT PLAN:
 
The dress code is designed to establish a standard appropriate to the seriousness of the school's purpose. Teachers will refer violations to the Assistant Principal.
