Middle School Bag Use Procedures


Students are not permitted to carry backpacks or other types of bags throughout the school
day. Instead, they are expected to place their bags in their lockers before the start of their 1st
period class. This helps reduce clutter in classrooms and hallways, and ensures a safer
environment for everyone.
Below is an outline of our School Bag procedures:

  • Students are expected to place their backpacks and larger bags in their locker beforetheir 1st period class.
  • Students are not permitted to carry backpacks or bags during the school day.
  •  Exceptions are allowed in the following situations:

                  *Before PE or Swimming: Students may retrieve items from their locker and carry
                    a bag to and from the locker room for changing.
                  *Bathroom Use: Students may bring a small bag or purse from their locker if they
                     need to carry personal products (e.g., hygiene products) to the bathroom.

  •  All bags or purses used for PE, Swimming, or bathroom needs must be returned to the locker after use, before reporting to the next location.
  •  These procedures are in place to maintain consistency, safety, and an organized environment for all students and staff.
