Tier I Acknowledgement System

Viking Vouchers: 

Students will receive Viking Vouchers throughout the school day when they are demonstrating expected behaviors.  When a student demonstrates an expected behavior in the classroom, the teacher who observes the behavior will give a BLUE Viking Voucher to the student (5th and 6th graders can also earn a voucher through the PBIS/MTSS REWARDS software system). When a student receives a BLUE Viking Voucher, they will put their name on it and place it in the corresponding grade level raffle box in the cafeteria. Our 5th and 6th grade students will also be able to reimburse their Online Viking Vouchers at our “Middle School Viking Store” or any of our “Teacher Stores.”

Viking Values Assemblies: 

A Viking Values Assembly or Spirit Rally will happen roughly once a month for all students. Teachers will wear a special Viking Values shirt to alert the students that a Viking Values Assembly is happening. 

Principals’ 100 Club:

Students who have received a golden paper Viking Voucher can exchange the Voucher for a number to be placed on their House Principal’s 100 Club Board.  When a row of 10 has been completely covered, horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, those ten students will receive a special reward from the principal.  Winners will be announced by the principal over the PA system.
